Zvulun Municipal Tertiary WWTP Enabling Wastewater Autonomy for Unlimited Irrigation
Capacity: 1,000 m3/day. Commissioned: 2020. Status: Operational.
Zvulun Regional Council is responsible for 16 communities of various sizes and types, including villages and agricultural communities, in the Haifa district of Israel. Based on TRIPLE-T’s proprietary TAYA technology, we designed a unique configuration of our TAYA ECO solution that combines passive aeration extensive elements with intensive biochemical processes. The robust and flexible local solution provides the council, farmers and residents with an optimal solution for converting regional wastewater to high-quality effluent, creating hundreds of thousands of cubic meters of clean water for irrigation per year. It is all achieved with minimal labor, near-zero sludge, no noise or stench, reduced eco-footprint and massive wastewater reuse. Importantly, the safe and efficient wastewater treatment meets regulatory requirements while enabling unlimited agricultural irrigation.
