Company's Solutions

Mottech Water Solutions Ltd. is a worldwide master distributor of Motorola solutions.

Mottech provides advanced remote monitoring and control solutions for diverse markets and applications, including agricultural irrigation, turf and landscaping irrigation, and water supply.

Our solution is based on connecting the valves that irrigate the parks to a central control system with wireless communication.

The water saving is achieved thanks to the control activated in real time in the event of a malfunction such as a broken sprinkler or a torn drip pipe.

In addition, our system knows exactly how much water each valve should irrigate based on data such as evaporation, the type of plant, the size of the area, and more.

We integrate weather stations and various sensors into the system in order to allow our users to keep the parks green and flowering and at the same time maintain the water budget and save water

Our systems are secure against hacks and cyber attacks and we have flexible options regarding server location.

Our technology enables control of additional infrastructures - such as central control of the fountains throughout the city. And we also provide Motorola SCADA systems to control the city's water supply systems.

Prominent Case Study

Tel Aviv, Israel 1,700 acres of parks and landscaped areas

Israel is a water-scarce country. Each municipality is allotted a specific amount of water for irrigation, which is based on the number of acres to be irrigated and the different types of plant material. The cost of water used to irrigate the city’s public parks is high, and the amount of money spent on irrigation water is often the single-largest landscape expense.

Mottech/Motorola controls 98% of the irrigation valves in Tel Aviv: nearly 10,000 valves and controllers, 1,777 water meters, and 55 water pumps. The system is operated from a control center located in the offices of the city’s Parks and Landscape Department.

  • Personnel in the field connect to the control system via the ICC PRO app. Each supervisor and contractor have access only to the relevant geographic area and relevant activities. The ICC PRO app allows easy, efficient management of system failures or alarms in a specific area and allows workers who are out in the field to navigate to system heads and valves using applications such as Waze or Google Maps to locate malfunctions, solve the problem, and clear the alarm report independently.
  • The controllers operate the valves in the system and monitor the water meter to calculate water flow and accumulation. Information from the controller is transmitted wirelessly (cellular or radio) to the control center.
